Marsa Alam is four hours south of Hurghada and correspondingly less developed, which is exactly why divers go. Elphinstone, Abu Dabbab and the Marsa Shagra house reef are the draws, along with a realistic chance of dugong and turtles in the seagrass bays. You need a certification card and a logbook.
Transfer from Marsa Alam airport, check dive paperwork, orientation dive if time allows.
Two guided shore dives to reset your weighting and buoyancy.
Two boat dives in the seagrass bay, looking for dugong and turtles.
Two dives on the offshore reef if the swell allows. It often does not; we have alternatives.
Two boat dives on the southern reefs.
Last dives must finish 18 hours before your flight. We schedule around it.
No diving. Transfer to the airport.
Send us the dates and how many people are travelling, by WhatsApp or the form on this page. We reply with a written itinerary and a fixed price, usually within a few hours. Confirming is a message, not a payment.
Everything listed under what is included is booked and paid by us as part of the package. We hold the reservations; you owe nothing until you arrive in Egypt.
No. We ask for no deposit and take no payment to hold a date. Nothing is charged when you book and nothing is payable in advance - you settle with us in Egypt once the trip is running.
Tell us and we will change it, or cancel it, at no cost. There is no cancellation fee and no deadline to worry about, because nothing has been paid up front. If plans shift while you are already here, we will rearrange what we can on the day.
For the guided dives, yes - bring your certification card and logbook. Snorkelling needs nothing at all, and an introductory dive with an instructor is open to complete beginners.
The tourist regions are heavily policed and we work in them daily. Your guide stays with you at every site. If you are travelling alone, tell us - we will match you with a guide accordingly.
