Practical
There is no deposit and nothing to pay in advance, so cancelling costs you nothing.
We ask for no deposit and take no payment to hold a date. Because nothing has been paid, cancelling costs you nothing, at any point, including on the day. There is no cancellation window to keep track of and no fee to reclaim.
Where an itinerary includes a hotel, a cruise cabin or a domestic flight, we hold those reservations in our own name and carry the risk ourselves. You are not asked to pay for them up front and you are not charged if they are cancelled. If a supplier imposes terms we cannot absorb, we will tell you in writing before you agree to anything, and you can decline.
If we cancel for any reason within our control, we will say so as early as we can and help you rebook elsewhere. If a site closes, a road is shut or weather makes a boat day unsafe, we will offer a substitute of equal or greater value; if you decline it, that portion simply is not charged.
You pay for the trip in Egypt, once it is running, by cash or card. Nothing is taken beforehand and we do not store card details.
Draft for review. This policy is written to be clear and fair, but it is a contract term and should be reviewed by an Egyptian lawyer against the Consumer Protection Law and your Ministry of Tourism licence conditions before you publish it. Note that it now commits the business to taking no deposit and charging no cancellation fee, which moves the commercial risk of no-shows and supplier cancellations onto the operator - have that reviewed alongside your insurance cover.
